From a sleepy Mayberry town to the largest Port of Entry in the world, San Ysidro is a district of San Diego that lies directly against the U.S.-Mexican border.
The “Friends of San Ysidro” (also known as Los Amigos) maintain old friendships & make new ones by having a monthly luncheon on the last Thursday of each month from 11:30a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at the Family House Restaurant in National City on the corner of Plaza Blvd & the 805 freeway. Everyone welcome, feel free to bring some friends or relatives.
Our webmaster, Barbara Zaragoza, also invites you to submit photos, newspaper clippings, maps, history and memories about San Ysidro. Please use the Contact page.
